(Willa at dress rehearsal, zebra, Lion King)
Because of Leah's January schedule (remember J-Term?) for SPCPA, she is at a rehearsal studio in Mpls, instead of downtown, as she is part of the Romantic Ballet dance group for January. SPCPA holds art's intensives during Jan, instead of the regular schedule. So, because these are guest instructors (in her case, Leah has an instructor who is a ballerina in the Twin Cities), the daily schedule is different than usual. Leah dances from noon-4 every day starting this week, and ending at the end of the month, culminating with a dance showcase at St. Kate's on 1/28.
Anyway, Monday, she didn't have any school, so was hanging around the house until she headed to her regular dance studio that evening (I did make her do extra chores to get her butt off the couch).
Tuesday, we found our way to the venue for her first J-term ballet class but I forgot that on Tuesdays, they only dance from noon-3 (and almost forgot her, thankfully she was more on the ball than usual and sent me a reminder text on her break). I was home only for a couple of hours before turning around to head back to Mpls to get her. Then we had to leave right after Willa got off the bus to head to MYDT for regular and extra dance to get ready for the winter show, Lion King. They were at the studio from 5:30-9:30. Got home and Willa still had about an hour's worth of homework to complete. Tried to stay awake long enough to feed them again and help get ready for Wed.
Yesterday, we had the Lion King dress rehearsal for MYDT (the girls dance studio). But because they had a 4pm call time, we had to be uber organized. Because of this, Willa needed extra time in the morning (didn't get to bed until after 11 - poor kid). Instead of heading to the bus stop, I drove her to school so she could have an extra 30 minutes to get ready. Got home, had 2 hours before driving Leah to Mpls. Got home, and had 3 hours to finish a little homework, Next we drove to get Leah in Mpls, before heading back to St. Paul to get to the Hamline by 4. Do makeup and touch up hair for Willa and send Mark to get Subway for girls. Leave Hamline to grab a bite to eat at Outback w/Mark. Back to Hamline at 6 to watch dress rehearsal. Out of Hamline around 9. Home to feed the girls again and get them to bed. They are ALL wound up from dress rehearsal.
This morning (Th.), drag Willa up a little late because I could barely drag myself out of bed. Poor Mark is up and out the door early to make up hours for leaving work early yesterday. Thankfully he made a fresh pot of coffee. :-) Shoo Willa out the door, after signing multiple papers (field trip, etc...). Leah drags herself out of bed, looking a bit worse for wear. Currently, I am trying to finish homework due by end of day (actually, I am blogging to calm myself down...) I have not exercised this morning, as I am struggling to remain upright. In less than 2 hours, I need to drive Leah over to Mpls for her ballet class. Because it is Th, we have our usual crazy Th. schedule, which is to pick up Willa at school, drive over to Mpls (usually I drive downtown to get Leah), stop at a Subway for dinner for the girls, drop them off at their early class at MYDT. Tonight, I have to run errands while the girls are at the studio for 2 hours - Macy's (items for Willa for performances this weekend), Walgreen's (items for girls for performances this weekend), Cub (out of milk, butter, salad items for hosting our parents before the show Sat. night), back to studio to pick up girls, home, homework for girls, homework for me?, prep for tomorrow night which will look very much like Wed.
Anyway, I actually have less than no time to continue blogging. I feel a little better now. I am still tired and I might not make it to my workout routine today but I will be a good Mom and make sure that my girls are exactly where they need to be, when they need to be there and with the required and appropriate items. Whew.
Have a great day.

Whew! I'm exhausted from reading all that! You are super-mom, no doubt about it ;-)
