I am procrastinating......

Someone PUH-leeze add a button of the "get your arse in gear!" sort to these blogs, and to FB, and to email....good lord, I need to get a classmate's paper analyzed and send feedback before 12:30, as we have another full day ahead of us. But for the life of me, I have done everything this morning EXCEPT my school work.

I actually had a wonderful week of being ahead of schedule for school work, accomplished a lot, worked hard at achieving an A on a Meteorology quiz this week (analyzing weather maps - SUPER FUN!), and in general, except for my period, I was NOT sick this week...unlike my hubby (sending him to the clinic this weekend - I think he has walking pneumonia).

Anyway, I sent them all out this morning to the dance studio and to be honest, I don't know where Mark is right now but he's fine...

See? I am rambing on...and on...without a distinct purpose...where was I?

Oh, last night our lovely first born danced at O'Shaughnessy Theater in an SPCPA J-Term performance (6 dances total, Leah was in the Romantic Ballet performance). As with all of the girls' dance performances, we cannot take pics/digital video during the performance so the only pics I have are from the lobby after the show.

Rubes and Leah

Aunt Carin and Leah, and if you look, Mark is in the background...
Leah danced beautifully and she told me afterwards that she really did have fun...and it showed in her dancing. I am one very proud Mama. What made the performance even more special is that not only was my mom in attendance, but also her favorite Aunt and cousin, (and C's mum) were in the city and able to join us. My 3 yr old ADORABLE AND HILARIOUS niece watched and literally danced her way through the entire 90 minute program. She was also prone to the 3 yr old "whisper" but personally I found it terribly amusing, which is probably why I didn't ask her to be quiet - she had a lot to say, and it was funny, and a bit insightful "it sounds like a drum", "their tummies are red", and "where did that guy and girl go?"...too cute. Thanks, C, K, and R for joining us. I know Leah was thrilled to know you were out in the audience watching...

I really need to work now...I think I actually feel a bit more focused. I guess I just needed to purge a bit before analyzing a paper about Evaluation Utilizing Appreciative Inquiry...yep, my thoughts exactly.

Adios!
